Brown Spots, Pigments & Freckles
Sun spots, age spots, and “liver” spots are brown spots (hyperpigmentation) that can appear on the sun exposed skin of your face, chest, hands, arms, and legs. These spots can occur at any age and with all individual’s skin types.
Freckles are small speckled deposits of pigment in the epidermis (upper layer of the skin), usually caused by sun damage or regular sun exposure from sports like tennis, running, or swimming and are a result of genetics. Freckles are harmless and does not signify any health problems.
